Nepal
The

part of daily life, and nowhere is this more evident than in Lhasa,
where one can experience a mystical calm hearing the chants of monks
stooped in prayer. Watching the faithful circumbulate the Jokhang Temple
on their belly is another sight to behold. Wandering around the narrow
streets with whitewashed stone houses, or just watching the pilgrims
in their turquoise and regional costumes, can be a sublime experience.
Norbulinka, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama, and Sera and Drepung
monasteries, dating back to the 15th century, are some of the places
